Traveling to Tenerife:
From Outside Spain to Tenerife:
Tenerife has two airports:
South Airport: For direct flights to Tenerife. It's farther from the city and wedding venue, but with a car, you can get everywhere.
North Airport: For domestic flights within Spain. It's smaller, less touristy, and closer to the city and wedding venue.
Note: Even if you stop in mainland Spain, you might land at the South Airport, as it operates both international and domestic flights. Check your flight details to confirm.
From Mainland Spain to Tenerife:
North Airport is recommended as it’s closer to the wedding venue and city. The South Airport is also an option but requires more driving.
Car Rental:
Both airports have car rental offices. Renting a car is crucial for getting around Tenerife.
Recommended company: CICAR, a local Canary Island company with great prices.
IMPORTANT: The wedding is during carnival season. If you're coming, rent your car as soon as possible, as availability is limited.
Accommodation:
Wedding Weekend: Stay near the wedding venue. Carnival season (March 6-9) makes booking early essential. After the weekend, accommodation is easier to find.
